IK & D offers custom designed replacement flighting systems to maximize the production capabilities of any dryer. Material veiling is the critical process in any direct heat dryer. Its capability to dry is totally dependent upon flighting systems. Standard flighting systems allow voids and slip streams between flighting curtains, allowing costly heat to pass through the dryer unutilized. Our flighting systems distribute material across the entire heat transfer cross sectional area, allowing for maximum material heat transfer into the product being dried.
