Tires, one piece or four piece designs
Industrial Kiln & Dryer produces custom designed tires as replacements for the badly worn tires on your dryer. We offer two types of tires; single piece tires and four piece. Each of our two types of tires is hammer forged then machined for concentricity and have similar wear characteristics.
One piece tire design:
IK & D designs one-piece forged tires installed as direct replacements for the worn tires that are on your dryer. These tires are forged 4140 alloy steel rings, machined for concentricity and heat-treated. Our replacement tires are of better quality than the OEM tires that were shipped with most manufacturers dryers.
The four-piece tire keeps your dryer where it is:
The IK & D four piece tire assembly was designed as a high performance; multi-piece tire system that bolts together around the dryer while it is in place. This allows the tires to be replaced at your facility and eliminates the need to move the dryer to our plant. This greatly reduces costly plant shut-down time and days of lost productivity during the tire replacement process.
