Seal Change-out/Evaluation
When a seal begins to loose its integrity, valuable heat is lost through the opening. This is not only costly in terms of wasted fuel (btu's) but also it can pose a safety hazard. With the technical support of our engineering staff, our field inspection personnel can visit your plant to inspect the seals on your equipment. You then will receive a detailed inspection report on the current and accurate condition of the seals on your rotary equipment, recommendations and a preventative maintenance program.
IK&D offers stainless steel finger seals, fiber based seals (Kevtex) as well as specialty seals for your dryer. Since we have an extensive engineering staff and ASME code certified manufacturing facilities, IK&D can provide a seal for almost any brand of rotary dryer.
IK&D, being a full service provider, can then schedule a time to visit your plant to install new seals to restore your dryer to safe and more efficient operation.
