Re-tubing Steam Tube Dryers
IK&D has the technical background, experience and necessary tools to perform complete evaluation, pressure testing, and reverse engineering (if necessary) to replace single tubes in a rotary steam tube dryer or to completely re-tube a dryer. The limitation to this service is, of course, the availability of the proper tube material in the current marketplace.
Some dryers manufactured early in the last century may have featured tubes of non-standard dimensions or may have been manufactured using now obsolete tubes making replacement difficult. Even in this case, some solutions are often possible.
