STEPHEN ALLEN

  • 24+ years of experience in the industrial minerals industry, servicing and installing processing equipment, (kilns, coolers, ball mills, calciners, etc). This field experience spans from breaking ground to bringing the plant into operation.
  • Expertise covers managing and scheduling field daily activities focused on equipment installation, troubleshooting, and field repairs, as well as, equipment evaluation, and alignments, resulting in defined recommendations targeting equipment optimization and longevity.

MIKE ATWELL

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Six Sigma Black Belt ASQ. ISO Lead Auditor trained.
  • 20+ years experience in all aspects of machine design, including Finite Element Analysis, concept creation, proto-type development, properties testing, tooling design, fabrication, and trouble shooting. Custom engineered solutions are his specialty.

PHIL CLEMENTS

  • 36 years of experience servicing, building and supporting chemical and grain processing, asphalt and fertilizer industries.
  • Focus has been in rotary equipment, asphalt plants, conveyors of all types, industrial blowers and  fabrication shop equipment.

DAVID CURTIS

  • 28 years of experience serving a multitude of industries such as chemical, cement, mining, mineral, and food and grain processing.
  • Specialization in high temperature calciners and rotary steam tube and direct fire dryers.

STEVE FARKAS

  • Educational background: Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Registered Surveyor
  • 15+ years performing surveys as owner and operator of own surveying company.
  • 20+ years experience utilizing NAK "Hot Kiln Alignment" Method on Kiln inspections, surveys and adjustments.
  • Experience relates to repairing, servicing and installing industrial processing equipment, with a focus on rotary machinery, (Kilns, Ball Mills, Calciners, Coolers, Mixers, and Dryers). Industries of focus include Paper, Lime, Cement, Ethanol, and Chemical.

KEVIN FRENCH

  • 20 years of experience servicing, building and supporting grain and chemical processing equipment.
  • Specialization focused on rotary steam tube and direct heat dryers. Emphasis on design concept and processing capabilities.

BRIAN LANSDOWNE

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering. Associate's Degree in Applied Computer Technology. Advanced PLC Programming.
  • 25+ years experience in support of chemical feed systems, lime slaking, ball mills, and lime hydration systems. Experience focused on design of controls, programming and start-up.

LOU LOVAS

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 40+ years experience repairing, servicing and installing industrial processing equipment, with a focus on rotary machinery, (Kilns, Ball Mills, Calciners, Coolers, Mixers, and Dryers). Industries of focus include Paper, Lime, Cement, Ethanol, and Chemical.
  • Founder of the NAK "Hot Kiln Alignment" Method of kiln alignment. Expert at kiln alignment theory, who has authored, published and presented several technical articles.
  • Expertise covers Unit and full Plant installations and repair on all aspects concerning all rotary equipment.

STEVE LOVAS

  • Educational background and apprentice experience in design, drafting and metal working, as a machinist.
  • 20+ years experience utilizing NAK "Hot Kiln Alignment" Method on Kiln inspections, surveys and adjustments.
  • Experience relates to repairing, servicing and installing industrial processing equipment, with a focus on rotary machinery, (Kilns, Ball Mills, Calciners, Coolers, Mixers, and Dryers). Industries of focus include Paper, Lime, Cement, Ethanol, and Chemical.

TOM MCCUNE

  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 30+ years experience designing, building, selling rotary processing equipment for the Asphalt, Aggregate, and Mining industries. Extensive experience in dealing with Used Equipment and Components. His specialty is finding discarded equipment and refitting to give our customer an economical solution to their processing issues.

DAVID OAKES

  • 30 years of experience servicing, building and supporting grain and chemical processing equipment. Extended experience with rotary steam tube dryers.

JOHN ROSS

  • 28+ years of experience servicing rotary equipment (kilns, dryers & ball mills) in the mining, cement, lime, chemical, fertilizer, food, and asphalt industries. OEM certified kiln / dryer maintenance instructor.
  • A kiln alignment specialist, who has authored, and published, several kiln maintenance articles. Experienced in all levels of project management.

TIM SCHOO

  • 20+ years of experience relating to fabrication and spare parts support of; chemical feed, lime slaking, ball mill, and lime hydration systems and projects.
  • Experienced focused on fabrication techniques, component sourcing, logistical support and field construction.

STEVE SMITH

  • 29 years working in fabrication serving industries such as chemical and grains.
  • Specialization in fabrication and mechanical integrity of rotary dryers.

ROLAND SUTTER

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 43+ years of experience in designing, fabricating, installing, troubleshooting and servicing Rotary Kilns, Rotary Dryers, Ball Mills, Lime Processing Equipment, Hydration Systems, Slaking Systems, Rotary Incinerators, Rotary Digesters.
  • Past President/Chief Engineer Vulcan Iron Works. Past design experience Allis Chalmers and Kennedy Van Saun. Expert knowledge in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) process.
  • Expert at kiln alignment theory, who has authored, published and presented several technical articles.

JOE TERRELL

  • 19+ years experience repairing, servicing and installing industrial processing equipment, with a focus on rotary machinery, (Kilns, Ball Mills and Dryers). Industries of focus include Lime, Cement, Mining, Chemical, Food and Grain Processing.
  • Expertise covers Unit installations and repair on all aspects concerning Kilns, Dryers, and Ball Mills. Additional experience dealing with Drive Trains, Lube Systems, ID Fans, Coal Mills, Crushers, Liner Installations, Bag Houses, Falk Gear Boxes and Grinding.

RYAN WILLIAMS

  • 18 years experience covering service and repair, as well as fabrication of rotary dryers, heat exchangers, and structural steel.
  • Concentrated experience and training in equipment alignment. Extended experience maintaining equipment in corn refining facilities.

JERRY YOUNG, PE

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • 37+ years experience covering all aspects of rotary equipment asphalt, mining, chemical, fertilizer, and food. Experience touches all aspects of the business from engineering, project management, field service support, manufacturing, and executive management.
  • Past President of Industrial Kiln & Dryer.

SARAH BELEW

  • Over 14 years customer service/sales experience, of which 7 years spent in the rotary drying business. Handling dryers, coolers, kilns and ball mills. Providing customers with replacement parts, recommended repairs and solutions to their equipment.

MELISSA BROWN

  • Over 14 years customer service/sales experience and has just joined the team. Brand new to the team and to rotary equipment, but not industrial sales. She is very excited to aid our customers with their Dryer, Coolers, Kiln, and Ball Mill needs and provide replacement parts, recommended repairs and solutions for their equipment.

KRISTEN COX

  • Over 17 years customer service/sales experience, of which 8 years spent in the rotary drying business. Handling dryers, coolers, kilns and ball mills. Providing customers with replacement parts, recommended repairs and solutions to their equipment.
  • Territory – AZ, NM, OK, LA, IA, WI, IL, KY, WV, SC

SARAH LEE GARNER

  • Over 10 years customer service/sales experience, of which 3 years spent in the rotary drying business. Handling dryers, coolers, kilns and ball mills. Providing customers with replacement parts, recommended repairs and solutions to their equipment.
  • Territory – CO, ND, TX, AR, GA, VA, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME

MIKE MOHLE

  • 15+ years experience relating to the design, fabrication, and execution of chemical feed, lime slaking and lime hydration systems and projects.
  • Specialist in the process of project development and management, with extensive experience working through system and component specification, development of "true" project scope, navigating the bidding and procurement processes, managing deliveries and installations, ensuring that original project objectives are met.

ASHLEY MOSER

  • Over 7 years customer service/sales experience and brand new to the team and to rotary equipment, but ready to learn! She is very excited to aid our customers with their Dryer, Coolers, Kiln, and Ball Mill needs and provide replacement parts, recommended repairs and solutions for their equipment.

DONNA SIPES

  • Over 20 years customer service/sales experience, of which 8 years spent in the rotary drying business. Handling dryers, coolers, kilns and ball mills. Providing customers with replacement parts, recommended repairs and solutions to their equipment.
  • Territory – UT, WY, KS, MO, MN, MI, IN, NC, FL

RANDALL YOUNG

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • 20+ Years of experience in Field Service and Manufacturing organizations. Specializing in facility and company management; creating team and company structures geared toward growth and expansion.
